Correctly spoken language is not only a beautiful thing, it is also vital for communication. In order to communicate clearly through speech, a command of the grammatical structure must go hand in hand with control of the fundamental components of oral communication: rhythm, flow and intonation, in short – the prosody.

This is especially true for German because of its strong syllabic emphasis. The progress and outcome of conversation, presentation and negotiation are all dependent on the signals communicated through rhythm and sound.

The system of teaching, which I originally developed myself for learners of German, was awarded the Preis für Innovation in der Erwachsenenbildung (Prize for Innovation in Adult Education) by the "Deutschen Institut für Erwachsenenbildung" (German Institute of Adult Education).
